Next week my kids start school and my gal is going to preschool. It has generated so much excitement in the house that I figured I'd make her something extra special.
These little boxes are something that you may just have around. If not, they're easily found in craft stores or your chain stores in the tool area (for little nails, screws and bits you have around the house). I made a cover for the top, adhered some paper and a border along the side and ended up with a really cute little treat box that she'll be able to pick a treat from after school next week.
The boxes come in all sizes too so if you have a kiddo going to college, make a big one and fill it with goodies. You'll be a pretty popular parent!

What a fabulous idea! I love love love this! I have 2 kids going to school now...2nd grade and Kindergarten! They would love something like this!
