Hey, all! It's Megan here and I'm going to talk about the process of taking an inspirational piece from a magazine ad to a scrapbook page. Inspiration is everywhere. Clothing, magazines, ads...they're all a wealth of design knowledge. So, when my new Pottery Barn magazine arrived the other day, I immediately sat down and ripped out a few inspiring pages. This one was my favorite:
My next step is to create a quick sketch: It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something to get the creative juices flowing. And from that, I created this page about my boys playing basketball:
How fun is that? Do you have a similiar process when creating?

It seems so easy..but i just started scrapbooking and everything it's so hard...matching coulors, choosing pictures and the right scrap paper...Thanks for your lovely post,Kinà (from italy)
