i am guessing you are getting curious. it is the season of peaked curiosity. am i right? are you wondering what your new favorite sassafras collection is going to look like? we are getting closer and closer to the fun filled reveal. we are also feeling giddy, anxious, and curious because as it is with every sassafras reveal the big question is ...... what will YOU think! peaks, sneaks, and full disclosure are in the very near future. stay tuned to this channel.

how to submit your portfolio:

1) pick what you would consider your top 5 projects. the ones that you feel show your style the very best. they do not have to all be created with sassafras products. 

2) send an email (with your projects attached) to our projectstoshare@sassafraslass.com address. please make the subject of your email "design team call"

3) if you have a blog please include a link to your blog in the email.

we will chose the newest additions to our design team after CHA. the cut off for portfolio submissions will be Feb 1st. 

we are excited for the opportunity to have a few new design team members, hope you are too =) 

blossoms are beautiful

i love flowers. i especially love flowers that come in mixed media form. real flowers are amazing, of course, and the true inspiration for the flowers that i'm fond of today. i love flowers that pop out of a velvety smooth sheet of chipboard. the flowers that have music notes dancing with vintage lace. an eclectic bouquet of painted metal flowers perhaps? i love flowers that have delicately stitched petals and pollen free button centers.

counting with count me in

welcome to 2011. it's exciting. i love the feel of a fresh brand new year just waiting to be filled to the brim with adventure, memories, new creations, new ideas... i could go on and on with a list of the potential that awaits. i personally like to come up with ohhh.. about 50 new years resolutions. one of my 2010 resolutions has been bumped over to 2011. i was aiming to be coffee free by 2011. january is just not the month for such torture. this is the month when the i's are dotted and t's crossed to bring together all the finishing touches to make the first 2011 sassafras release JUST RIGHT. so i'll be taking full advantage of americano's this month!

as we begin this year it seems very appropriate to spotlight "count me in". that's how i feel about starting out this year. YES count me in for the adventure that awaits. what about you... what's your number one resolution, challenge, or hopeful potential you want to reach during 2011?
