hello pals...how was your weekend? super fun, we hope! we have a bunch of fun and inspiring goodies to show you today from all around the world. some came from our internet searches and blog comments, others popped up in our inbox, a few were created by the ladies of the talented sass design team....and for good measure we threw in some of our faves from the gallery at My Scrapbook Nook (who, incidentally, are offering all of you an awesome gift and one of you an awesome prize! read on to see what you can get and how you can get it....)
~~~
keren from israel created this printer's tray project (which we are in love with!) using some of her favorite bits of winsome paper from cherry delicious.
~~~
The nerdy bird colors in this layout by KariAnn are perfect for chillaxin' with a lollipop. cute journaling KariAnn!
~~~
peg manrique used apple jack papers and a couple of cool sassafras brads to compliment this great photo!
~~~
we showed you a tiny glimpse of this project by vicki boutin in our cha booth photos....but it's so gorgeous we thought you might like to see the whole enchilada! this layout features bits from almost all of the indie girl papers, pink glitter alphas and some seamstress bouquet paper whimsies...
~~~
marla kress took indie girl in a whole 'nother direction with her eye-catching three amigos layout....love them greens & blues! the paper whimsie card from tailored deck makes for a perfectly contrasted finishing touch....
how many directions can you go with indie girl? one fun way to find out would be to purchase the august kit at my scrapbook nook --- it has a verrrry nice stash of indie to play with and tons of coordinating embellishments.
my scrapbook nook loves sassafras fans! so much so, that if you order a kit membership they'll give you a $10 credit to the shop! just make sure you email orders@myscrapbooknook.com to say you signed up and that you heard about it at the sassafras blog.
when we told them how much we love the august kit....they decided to let us give one away! soooo, who wants it?! simply leave us a comment with a link to your favorite project from the gallery at my scrapbook nook, and the kit could be yours!! get ready for some major eye candy....their gallery is fantastic. :) put the link in your comment here and we'll pick a random winner on friday!!
here are some of our picks....talk about inspiring!
